Nikki Buckstead
Executive Director
With over 30 years of experience in social services, Nikki Buckstead has a passion for advocacy and working to reduce stigma, which has led her to work extensively in fields of mental health, substance use treatment, and family homelessness. Her background and experience are rich in a variety of different settings and she brings that breadth and depth of her experience with her when working with organizations, partners and stakeholders.
Ms. Buckstead previously served as the CEO of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Sacramento, Executive Director of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Sonoma County, a Behavioral Health Administrator of an FQHC, and was a past Coalition Director in Marin County.
Her leadership with the FSC is to ensure strong partnerships so that as a system, we can ideate, implement and advocate for innovations and best practices, making the FSC the primary driver toward preventing and ending a family’s housing crisis in a coordinated, equitable, and timely manner.
