Amanda Sanchez

Administrative and Operations Manager

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Pacific Union College and shortly thereafter began her career in the nonprofit field. Since 2012, Amanda has worked in the homeless services field, first as a direct service provider and more recently in administrative roles. She was recognized as an Unsung Hero of the Year by United to End Homelessness in 2020.

She currently serves as the Administrative and Operations Manager for the Family Solutions Collaborative. In this role, she collaborates with FSC partners and members to oversee grant administration of two large contracts and works to ensure compliance, housing resources for families, coordination and communication among the participating member agencies who the FSC administers the funding to. She also helps to oversee the day-to-day on-site operations of the FSC and identify resources necessary to ensure the FSC runs smoothly.

She enjoys working for the FSC because she is able to see firsthand the hard work and collaboration from so many agencies and partners with the common goal of helping to prevent and end family homelessness.
